ClubFirst was founded by Kieran Geary, a Business graduate from MTU, who
recognised a clear gap in how sports and community clubs access funding and
connect with suppliers.

Through his experience as Treasurer of Tallow GAA and involvement with Waterford GAA, Kieran saw first-hand the challenges clubs face—from navigating complex grant applications to finding reliable suppliers for projects. With limited time and resources, many clubs were missing out on opportunities simply because the process was too fragmented and difficult to manage.

ClubFirst was created to change that. The platform is designed to simplify the entire journey—from finding funding to delivering projects—by bringing everything into one place. By making the process clearer, faster, and more accessible, ClubFirst aims to support volunteers, strengthen clubs, and help communities continue to grow.
